Pangea Audio Distributing, a developer and manufacturer of high performance, high-value audio accessories, today announced a new wall-mount turntable shelf designed to withstand weights up to 40 lbs.
The Pangea Audio Turntable Wall Mounted Premier SE Shelf MKII (SRP: $199.95), upgrades its predecessor, the Vulcan Turntable Wall-mount Shelf, with significantly improved weight capacity, while including the features that made it a success in the specialty audio and custom installation channels.
“The original wall mounted shelf continually sold out as soon as it was back in stock,” says Steve Niemi, Director of Global Sales, Pangea Audio, LLC. “The only request from our dealers was to make it capable of holding a heavier turntable, now that more of their customers are investing in premium audiophile models. Our response is the Premier SE Shelf MKII, a wall-mount for today’s high-end turntables.”
The Pangea Audio Turntable Wall Mounted Premier SE Shelf MKII eliminates performance-robbing vibrations, thanks in part to its one-piece steel U-frame, steel backplate, and a non-resonant MDF shelf insert with adjustable metal spikes for leveling.
Unique to the Premier SE Shelf MKII wall-mount are backplate slots that allow mounting to studs that are spaced 16” on center with convenient left/right adjustability after mounting. A 1” gap between the shelf and the backplate allows for cable management, for a clutter-free appearance.
The shelf is designed for both end-users and custom installation specialists who prefer to mount the turntable to save space and complement a room’s décor. The frame mounts to wall studs, masonry, brick/concrete, thick wood paneling, and similarly sturdy wall surfaces. All mounting hardware is included, as is an easy-to-follow illustrated installation guide.
As a sign of the company’s commitment to eco-friendly packaging the shelf is safely shipped in recyclable packaging with no Styrofoam or other potentially harmful materials.
