Andrew is a lifelong music enthusiasts and brings a fresh (and younger) perspective to the audiophile hobby from the often-cold confines of Ontario, Canada. Andrew is a tech executive by day but has over five years professional writing experience including in technology as well as sports (MLB, NHL, NFL and more)… Outside of consumer electronics Andrew has written for FantasyDFSExperts.com, FantasyAlarm.com, FriendsWithFantasyBenefits.com and other sports-based media outlets. Andrew Dewhirst has published a number of books that are listed on Amazon.com. He is a member of the FSWA and frequently attends audiophile shows such as AXPONA, Capital Audiofest and others. Andrew has degrees from Lambton College and Conestoga College, and is working a next degree from Athabasca University.

Andrew’s specialty is audiophile grade integrated amplifier reviews. He has reviewed audiophile integrated amps that have GaN-FET (Gallium Nitride) amps, other class-D amps, traditional class-AB amps and even tubes. He’s reviewed integrated amps from brands like Cambridge Audio, Music Hall, Anthem, Leak, HIFI ROSE and many more.

By no means is Andrew limited to just integrated amp reviews as he’s reviewed floorstanding speakers from Paradigm, Dali, MartinLogan, Polk Audio, Bowers & Wilkins and many more. Vinyl is no mystery to this Millennial audiophile reviewer either. He’s reviewed turntables from Pro-Ject, NAD, Andover Audio and countless others.

Andrew’s dedicated audiophile reference listening room is one of the best of the FutureAudiophile.com staff. He’s using a mix of GIK Acoustics and other brands (some RPG, we think) acoustical treatments. He’s done extensive work to his electrical system to provide clean, noise-free power, excellent in lighting control and more.
